Connect your own domain

Add your domain in the website editor, add three DNS records at your registrar (a TXT record to prove ownership, an A record for the main domain, a CNAME for www), then press Verify. Free SSL follows automatically.

Steps

1. In the website editor open Domains and enter your domain, for example yourbusiness.ca.
2. Nysroc shows the exact records for your domain (English or French page):
• TXT, host _nysroc-verify.yourbusiness.ca, value nysroc-verify=<your code> (proves you own it)
• A, host @, value the Nysroc IP address shown on the page (main domain)
• CNAME, host www, value sites.nysroc.com (www)
3. Add them at the company where you bought the domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare and others).
4. Do not change your MX records: your email keeps working.
5. Back in the editor press Verify. DNS usually updates within an hour, sometimes up to 48 hours.
6. When verified, your site is at https://yourbusiness.ca and https://www.yourbusiness.ca with free SSL.

The Website plan includes one custom domain. On any paid plan the same domain also opens your workspace at yourbusiness.ca/app.
