Connect Square

Coming soon: the Square connection is waiting on its final approval and cannot be connected yet. When it opens: Keep using Square. In your workspace open Connect your POS, choose Square and approve access. Sales, refunds, items, stock and Square fees then flow into Nysroc Books automatically, with a nightly re-check.

Steps

1. Open your workspace → Connect your POS (your-business.nysroc.com/app/nysroc-connect-pos).
2. Choose Square and sign in to your Square account, then approve.
3. Pick the Square location(s) to sync.
4. New sales arrive in seconds. Each night Nysroc re-checks yesterday's sales and refunds so nothing is missed.

What you get in Books: each sale as a POS invoice with payments by card or cash, Square's processing fee as an expense, refunds as credit notes (partial refunds are saved as drafts for review), item and price changes, and stock count differences.
