Free SSL (the padlock)

Every Nysroc site gets free SSL. For your own domain the certificate is issued automatically within minutes after the domain is verified, and renews itself.

• your-business.nysroc.com always has SSL.
• Your own domain gets a free certificate (Let's Encrypt) as soon as it is verified and the A and CNAME records point to Nysroc. It renews automatically.

Steps

1. If the browser says "Not secure" on your domain, check that the domain shows Verified in the editor.
2. Check both the main domain and www point to Nysroc (A record and CNAME).
3. On Cloudflare, set the records to DNS only until the certificate is issued.
4. Wait 10 to 15 minutes and reload. If it still fails after a few hours, ask the assistant to re-run the domain check or open a ticket.
