My domain will not verify

Most failures are a missing or mistyped TXT record, a duplicate old record, or DNS that has not updated yet. Check the exact records on your domain's DNS page, fix them at your registrar, wait, and press Verify again.

Steps

1. Open the DNS page for your domain in the editor and compare each record character by character.
2. TXT: some registrars add the domain automatically. If yours does, enter only _nysroc-verify as the host.
3. Remove old A records for @ and old CNAME records for www that point elsewhere.
4. On Cloudflare use DNS only (grey cloud).
5. Wait: usually under an hour, up to 48 hours.
6. Select Verify again, or ask the assistant to re-run the domain check for you.
