Refunds and credits
The Nysroc Assistant checks your billing and refunds right away when our written policy covers it: a duplicate charge, or a charge made after you cancelled. A credit can apply after a confirmed Nysroc outage. Anything else goes to the Nysroc owner for review, and every automated decision can be reviewed by a person.
Steps
- Sign in and open the assistant. Say what happened, for example "I was charged twice".
- The assistant checks the charges on your account. If the policy covers it, it shows the exact amount and refunds it to your original payment method after you confirm. Banks usually show a refund within 5 to 10 business days.
- If the policy does not cover it, the assistant tells you why and can pass your request to the Nysroc owner for review with the conversation attached.
Covered automatically: two successful charges for the same invoice or period, and a renewal charged after you cancelled, within the time and amount limits of our written policy.
Credits: after a confirmed Nysroc outage that affected your account, a credit can come off your next invoice under the same policy.
While a chargeback or bank dispute is open, refunds can only be handled through owner review.
Every decision the assistant makes automatically about a refund can be reviewed by a person: just ask.
